Reasonably priced high quality food with several vegan options. Location is also great, and service was strong.
A.wonderful relaxed ambience with the best food. The dishes were all presented beautifully and cooked to perfection. A real find with such flavourful coeliac and gluten free cuisine.
A really great restaurant right in the middle of Chamonix. We went here for dinner for the first time last Thursday with a couple of friends and had a wonderful evening. The setting is right next to the river (we were given a table right...next to the window). The food was fantastic….very different to the ‘usual’ Chamonix quinine, which makes a lovely change. The food is beautifully presented and the lavender sorbet was something new to me but it was DELICIOUS! It’s run by a wonderful Swedish couple who go out of their way to make your dining experience as perfect to you as it can be. They are professional, organised and very efficient. It’s clear they work really hard and it’s easy to see as they work their way around the restaurant - service is with a smile and they are happy to help with any guidance regarding the menu. We shall definitely be returning next time we are in town. Thank you Bizes! More
Loved the simple, limited yet thoughtful menu that has something for every diet. Fresh ingredients and simple, tasteful presentation. Totally recommend!
Absolutely great starters and main course, tender, tasty steak & attentive service. I've spent twice the amount in the past at other steak restaurants, and the taste was better here!
Dinner was not good! There were artichoke hearts in in the green curry, so weird and very bland. Tomato soup was cold like they forgot to heat it. Service was ok, views of river are nice but not worth it to eat blah food.
Super good food and excellent service! Had the sous vide duck as a starter and the black angus ribeye as a main, both were excellent and and the service was very friendly and down to earth compared to other fine dining restaurants in the area....We got a table right next to the river with a lovely view. Thanks a lot for this experience, I will definitely be back! More
My husband and I met in Chamonix and so we like to return often and each time we do, we make sure to have a meal at Bizes. Tucked away on the Rue du Lyric, the roaring river beside it, this cozy little restaurant serves...up fresh, delicious and creative dishes to satisfy any palate and dietary need. Fresh baked homemade bread with sun-dried tomato pesto started us off as we perused the menu. We then shared the BBQ fennel served with goat cheese that was out of this world. Then moved onto the stuffed portobello mushroom and vegetarian curry. Each dish was better than the last. Finished off with chocolate-peanut butter cake made with a soy-based creme. Loved it all! Thanks so much for your continued excellence and consistency. We will definitely be back! More
After 50 miles on the trail our family walked into a perfect restaurant. Of course the BBQ rib eye cooked in the Josper charcoal barbeque was spot on, the veal and swordfish were tender and deeply flavourful. But what really set this lovely warm vibed...place apart for us was the shared sides cooked so clearly with a love for food details, new tastes, and the clear line between palette and heart. Try the smoked fennel on the homemade seed crackers, curly good greens tucked in with foamy wasabi and the surprising pop of caviar looking onion vinaigrette translucent pearls. It was a party. Or the fries cooked crisp and layering, perfect for dipping in the eggplant fuzzy with fishy bonita flakes. We didnt save any room for a dessert, but ate two perfect concoctions nonetheless. We can always work it out tomorrow on the slopes of mount blanc. More
Wow ! Very good food and I was in trouble to choose because so many interesting courses. Good service and a cozy/chic atmosphere! I definately recommend this restaurant👍
The best restaurant we visited in Chamonix - vegan curry was so tasty and fresh as was the chicken curry. Hubby said his pork belly was the best he has ever had - and he has had lots previously! Friendly staff, lovely wine and great...atmosphere - we will definitely go again if we come back to Chamonix More
