  •   I just had a delicious delicious meal, with lovely service (and from what I could tell, so was everyone else around me! Lots of happy diners!) I ordered the stuffed portobello mushroom and a side of the three beans. The mushroom was creamy from artichokes,...meaty from the chestnuts and perfectly crunchy on top. The green beans were recommended by the waitress and I was like, hmmm…probably boring. Nope. They are grilled and that perfect mix of cooked and crunchy that I never can get at home. The side salad was lightly dressed with a slightly tangy taste, the wine yummy, the bread, yummy! The waitress remembered previous guests, and was attentive without hovering. Food was served at a good pace. I am going back tomorrow… I’d recommend this for vegetarians/vegans, gluten free, meat and fish fans as well. More

Our favourite restaurant in Chamonix. We go whenever we are in town. Last night was a real test though. We were a party of ten including 6 children aged 5 to 15. The owner took personal charge, ensured everyone got fed beautifully and we left...a very happy party. The food is truly exceotional, nothing was left behind and as you will know kid's are fussy and irratic! The owner has two lovely sons who were also brilliant and they too helped feed the mob. One even texted us when closing to share a picture of a hoodie one if the kids left behind. It is always busy, get there early to secure an outside table. Wine list brilliant value. Enjoy! More

Tucked away off the Main Street this restaurant is a hidden gem. Lots of gluten free options on the menu. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. We booked ahead and were given a table outside next to the river. I...would advise booking as it does get very busy, especially if you want to sit outside. Only downside for us is that we only discovered this restaurant on our last evening in Chamonix More

  •   We booked for 630pm dinner as it was hard to find a GOOD resto open for dinner at 630. Read good reviews of this place and came here. Everything was good except the food came out so fast, is like trying to turn our tables...for 730pm seating. Also indoor dining lovely views but you're jammed up with another table behind. We left at 730pm as a big group came and sat behind us and it was just not easy for them to move around without bumping into us. However super food. Had great Burrata and my beef steak and partner's lamb shank are so good. Overall is an excellent place to come and dine in. More

We had smoked prawns and duck for entree, and lamb, chicken curry and steak and chips for main. It was all amazing, the flavours were excellent. The red sulphite free wine was great, as well as the venue by the rushing glacial creek. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful surprise to find Bizes! The restaurants in Chamonix are underwhelming to say the least. We happened to walk by Bizes and could tell just by glancing at the menu that it was special. We made a reservation for the next evening and...could not have been happier. Everything -- food, service, ambience was wonderful. (I've added a couple of photos, but the menu changes regularly; I'm sure you'll be in for a treat whenever you go.) More

  •   Probably our best meal in Chamonix . It gets full 5 stars in service and 5 stars in food. It’s a small restaurant tucked in a side not so touristy street, the windows and outdoor seating overlook the river. I had the BBQ shrimps appetizer, they were so succulent and flavorful that I actually ended up licking my fingers. The rib eye with the pepper sauce was excellent too. My wife loved her pear and turnip soup, the triple fried potatoes. Her sword fish was good but she wouldn’t give it a 5 maybe a 4 out of 5. Kerry our server was quite informative, attentive and severed with a smile. Overall a wonderful experience. More

Wonderful food with a super friendly feel. Innovative menu catering for veggies and gluten free. Right up my street. The staff were lovely and allowed us to bring our dog. Very reasonably priced and quick service. Will definite visit again. Thank you

We had an excellent experience at Bizes! Our waiter was attentive and warm. The room is well decorated with dark wood paneling. There is a beautiful view of the river. The cauliflower-three-ways and the mushroom soup were the stars of the show. The stuffed mushroom...entree was okay. As a vegetarian, the dinner was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend coming here! More

  •   We booked quite late having struggled to find somewhere with good vegetarian options and I’m so glad we found Bizes. We had a truly fantastic evening, with amazing food and excellent service and the whole place has a really lovely ambience. Our teenagers had clean...plates all round and I can honestly say the fennel starter was one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten! Thank you Sanna for a fabulous evening, if you are in Chamonix this place is not to be missed. More

Just excellent food - we were a group of 7 so we ordered I think cca. 75% of the dishes on the menu - all were very tasty, large portions, an excellent mix of flavours. From the starters, to the barbecued meats with just the...right seasoned salad, to the side dishes and desserts, all were a festin of taste! And of course, really good service too! Thank you! More

Pretty much the whole menu here is gluten free and homemade. The waiting staff completely understood my dietary requirements and made me feel safe (as a coeliac). There’s also great options for veggies. The food was incredible - packed with flavour. It was so good...we took our whole group to eat there days later! I can’t wait to go back next time we’re in chamonix. More
