  •   If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Lovely relaxing restaurant, great food and service. One of the few places in Chamonix that actually had vegetable sides on the menu... and they were great and different too. Service was excellent and good too. Highly recommend. More

We walked in with our family and were promptly seated near the entrance. The food was enjoyable, and they offered a nice selection of wines. However, the restaurant was already bustling with noise from other tables. Unfortunately, our attempt at a quiet dinner was thwarted...when the music was turned up to a level that felt too loud. Despite this, the service was attentive, and the food was satisfying. More

Best steaks and frites in Chamonix for sure! Lovely, warm staff offer a cozy family feeling. Reserve your table. It’s a lovely setting next to the river.

  •   To start the service was wonderful. The servers came at regular intervals and the food and beverage service was timed perfectly. The food is below average at this price for Chamonix. The shrimp starter was watery and mushy. The swordfish was a bit dry, needed to order their extra sauces to cover it up. The lamb was a bit dry on the outer edges but fortunately the interior revealed juicy, fall-off-the- bone meat. The sides were fine. Ambience was the most disappointing. The air is thick with smoke from the kitchen, you can actually see it on top of the smell. Be prepared for your hair and clothes to smell of BBQ smoke for the rest of the night (if like that smell then this may appeal to you). Also avoid tables at the front. The charming heavy blanket at the front door isn't a professional wind barrier and lets a fair amount of cold air when the door is opened. For the price point we'd choose other places town if we didn't have a gluten avoidant guest with us. If you are looking for gluten free options, then this is the best in town. More

Don’t go there. The service is brutally bad. No humbleness, no love, no appreciation. Stressed personal, long waiting time and noisy. No, pick an other..

Beautiful restaurant in Chamonix located next to the water. Staff were extremely friendly. The complimentary homemade bread was delicious. Highly recommend.

A super evening for a big party of 13 with Bizes delivering an unpretentious but great menu; their smoked and grilled Prawns, Salmon, Duck and Angus Beef are all very "Smaklig". Bizes differs from the default Savoyard fayre in Chamonix in a very good way,...their ambience also pitches neatly between relaxed and formal with prices which are also fair. A big thanks to the Chefs and staff, Russel & Alin. See you later. Tack! More

I just had a delicious delicious meal, with lovely service (and from what I could tell, so was everyone else around me! Lots of happy diners!) I ordered the stuffed portobello mushroom and a side of the three beans. The mushroom was creamy from artichokes,...meaty from the chestnuts and perfectly crunchy on top. The green beans were recommended by the waitress and I was like, hmmm…probably boring. Nope. They are grilled and that perfect mix of cooked and crunchy that I never can get at home. The side salad was lightly dressed with a slightly tangy taste, the wine yummy, the bread, yummy! The waitress remembered previous guests, and was attentive without hovering. Food was served at a good pace. I am going back tomorrow… I’d recommend this for vegetarians/vegans, gluten free, meat and fish fans as well. More

Our favourite restaurant in Chamonix. We go whenever we are in town. Last night was a real test though. We were a party of ten including 6 children aged 5 to 15. The owner took personal charge, ensured everyone got fed beautifully and we left...a very happy party. The food is truly exceotional, nothing was left behind and as you will know kid's are fussy and irratic! The owner has two lovely sons who were also brilliant and they too helped feed the mob. One even texted us when closing to share a picture of a hoodie one if the kids left behind. It is always busy, get there early to secure an outside table. Wine list brilliant value. Enjoy! More
